    Communities Foundation of Texas

On October 20th, 10 confirmed tornados hit North Texas. The severe weather affected Dallas, Rockwall, Rowlett, Allen, Kaufman County, Ellis County and Van Zandt County and is estimated to have caused almost $2 billion in damages. The strongest tornado, an EF3, tore a 16-mile-long path from North Dallas to Richardson in just over 30 minutes and had a maxim estimated winds of 140 mph.

While no lives were lost, many schools, homes and business were damaged and/or destroyed. In keeping with the ULI brand promise of being a leader within the Real Estate community, ULI North Texas has begun collecting donations for the Communities Foundation of Texas Dallas Tornado Recovery and Relief Fund.

In addition, ULINT has offered to match contributions from our member and non-member attendees up to $5000.00.

Donation amounts have been set in the event registration. If you have already registered for the event, you are welcome to click the registration button again and choose a donation amount that will be listed under “Sessions.” If you have not registered, you can still do so by clicking the button below!

Computers will also be set up and available to take contributions at the registration table on the morning of the event.

If you have any questions regarding our efforts, please reach out to [email protected].
